He he.....now that I've got your attention !!

The 4-71 finally turned up and man, Christmas has come early for me guys !!
Its a rebuilt GMC 4-71 and its in primo condition. Its sitting on a Mitchell (ex Kiwi) intake which is a real kool piece and not very common.

Its designed to take a 4-71 and the casting is a real beautiful piece with hardly any casting flash in the ports. The price was right too !!

So right now, Im a happy man.....I just wish the block was'nt still at the machine shop getting sleeved....

Wait till you run it, a 4-71 took 2 seconds off my 1\4 mile et.What does that manifold use for a backfire blow off? That blue devil stuff I told you about would have worked.But you are better off with sleeve,don't know how stuff will hold up long term.Stay flat.

Flatdog, Im gonna add a pop off valve to the plenum as it doesnt have one yet. Any ideas as to where to get one or how to fab one up ??
