I found an n.o.s. Isky cam, supposedly for
a 270 Dodge 'Red Ram' hemi for sale on
the internet, but the vender doesn't have
the specs or any other information about
the cam. The markings on the cam are
"Iskendarian" and then "B7" and "D888"
and "270". Can anybody here I.D. this
    cam and post the specs???

  2. I'll give you a bounce because old cam specs interest me a ton. Maybe little wing has a book and will see this.

Does Isky have a site? maybe you can drop them a note and get info also. Just a thought.

I wonder if it if for a 270 at all. I have a 269 Isky in my 241 and it was not marked like that. The 270 may be the advertized duration. We need a pic of the overall shape. Isky identifies cams in his factory by the over all length. I have a cam that can be measured. The cams look a whole lot like a SBC except for the nose.

Agreed, most likely the '270' indicates duration.
If you don't have a stock cam to compare to the take some accurate dimensions (bearing diameters and bearing centers) so we can help.

The D888 is listed by Isky as a "Hi-Rev Crossflow" and "Super Road and Drag". Solid (chilled iron) Lifter and in the .424 lift range.

This grind was available for almost any poly or hemi, so the 270 could very well be the C.I.D.

    Be aware...

    Solid lifter cam...

I am going to guess you need adjustable rockers or at the least adjustable push rods???

Mart, how about just regrinding a cam to suit your needs rather than trying to make a cam profile work? Just curious.

The ad is confusing. It states NOS but also says used!
That is a lot of difference!
