    Hey Ron...

You did some nice work on Jakes coupe/roadster...

Next spring/summer I need to get out your way and do some Model A talking...

If I ever get a day off...

    VonKool13,

    Where is Hot Rod Mecca?

I saw your roadster pickup in your Photo Album.

It looks good. I like a Ford in a Ford and the wire wheels.

You and your friends used what you had or could get instead of buying everything.

My Mercruiser engined is not a Ford in a Ford but it is a 4 banger in a 4 banger and the engine is based on a 460 Ford V8 internally.

The head is a Ford 460 aftermarket aluminum head.

I will paint it with early Ford green engine paint so that all of the non-Ford engine parts are hidden from view. HA Ha :D

The 470 engine when stripped of the boat parts is a simple 4 cylinder ohv engine and doesn't have much plumbing or wiring to give it away as a modern engine.

It does have casting webs in the aluminum block that are an indication that it is modern but most people do not know what a Model A Ford engine looks like anyway.

    **** :) :) :)
