Maybe somewhere in the Kennesaw area?
I've tried pretty much everything else and I can't get this car to stop shaking down the road. I pretty much only have the rims left to try out. They are just chromed steel.

    Thanks

try a BIG truck suspension shop . They are usually still old school enough to know how to straighten a wheel. They are also about the only ones that can get the camber right on a straight ( dropped ) axle. A place like that can whip a reversed eye main leaf for your spring in no time, and laugh at the size.

    hope this helps, jeff

One thing you might think about is truing your tire and wheel ***embly. When rims are out of round you can true the tire to make the whole ***embly more round. Unless the rim is too badly out of round, this has worked for me on some of my older cars. My Shafer 8 Indy car for example has 20 inch Houk wire wheels. Two of them are not so round. I simply trued the tire to make it and the wheel ***embly more round. Car then drove great.

Just a thought. Good luck with it.

Try Metro Wheel in Marietta, they repair aluminum wheels, not sure about steel.
Also I got a card for Jerry Rogers in Calhoun 706-602-8585 that sais "racecar wheels repaired"
Things I would try in this order....
    1. Have them balanced on one of the new "road force" balancers that puts a drum against the tire to simulate the road and measures runout and imbalance.
    2. If the wheels are suspect, spin them alone on a balancer, watch the area where the tire-bead sits on the rim, look for movement in this area which translates out to the tire.
    3. Balalnce the whole ***embly on the car.
    Don't rule out driveline/axle vibrations.
It should be fairly easy to pinpoint the vibration to front or rear, left or right wheels/tires by rotating the tires. If you need a hand, give me a call.

    Things I've done...
Replaced all the front end stearing stuff
    New bearings front and back.
    New u-joints and CV joint
Had the tires balanced and rotated. Though not on the type machine you were talking about GMB. You have one at your place?
