Hi, I'm a fairly new member; from Minnesota. This is as everyone already knows, a great site, I am very impressed by member knowledge, helpfulness and the quality of work. Makes an amateur like myself feel pretty inadequate.
I'm working on a 1957 Chevy truck, been through 3 motors -currently have a warmed over 283 installed with 348 ready for rebuild. I converted it to a NAPCO truck (4wd), 3 speed OD trans, changed to 3.38 gears for highway driving and did a lot of cutting, welding and finally painted it. I am in the process of ***embly now. I don't have as much knowledge as most members on this site, but if I can help let me know.

Welcome from southern Minnesota. Nothing wrong with a 283 with todays gas prices.

Welcome Don from the West Coast of Florida.

Sounds like an interesting project. Maybe you could post a few pictures.
