Customs 1960 Buick grill ideas needed

i am doing a mild customization on a Buick 60 Electra 4dr flat top, does anyone know what alternative grills might drop right in without too much modification needed?

 

just remove the round center piece . that will look cool

 

tonyimpala is right. Sometimes just removing the adverti*****ts is all you need to do.

Oh, and lose the handles.

 

I was going to say the same thing, the center piece unbolts and looks like it was never there. I can't picture what I'd change it to.

 

Pull it and ship it to me ha-ha. That grill is too *****in to mess with. Agree with everyone else

 

Pull the center emblem and go find some '58 Buick squares...should be easy.

Welcome aboard, I would use a 60 Mercury grill., may get by using the headlight buckets
with your stock grill... Good Luck!

The 60 Buick grill is one of the best looking grills from that time period when you pull the center emblem out of it. If I ever manage to pick up a 59 Impala it will have one in it before it is all said and done.

 

I`m not particularly fond of that grill either, I thought about adding cadillac bullets to it before, the other ideas are just random.

59 cad bullets with custom bumper and optional 61 pod with 57 buick insert.

I love the Buick grille (and headlights!!!), and can only wonder why you would want to change.

But in view of mrjynx excellent offerings, here is Hub Harness' famous ride, with bullets on '58 Ford mesh.

I have one and just removed the round Buick emblem and put a billit cone in center to replace very easy and big conversation peice with fella rodders
