So my wife and I throw an annual Halloween party every year with some good friends. Usually around 25-30 people. If you don't have a costume on you don't come in..ANYWAY, we recently found out she was pregnant (FIRST KID) and kept it a secret from all our friends, until the party. This is how we told them...

Nice work - both of you.

Mind you though, my mind begins to wander ............... what does this have to do with the ever-present and on-going mental wrestling match of such mind-boggling conundrums as:
    - bias ply vs radials, or
    - alloys vs steelies, or
    - Ford vs Chevy vs Mopar, or
    - Deuce vs A on '32 ch***is, or (the perennial favourite)
    - SBC vs Flathead (or early Hemi)???

Is this forum becoming diluted with those who must share everything?

Come on, how about a thread about magnetos vs MSD ignitions? Otherwise, just give us a link to some good old ****!!!!! After all, that's what the internet was invented for!!

  10. hahah that's a pretty clever way to tell everyone! And congratulations! Best of luck to you and your wife.

Actually, not as quick as I would have thought. Some didn't pay enough attention. Others saw it and for some reason didn't know if they were supposed to say anything. Anyway, of course everyone was thrilled once they knew it was ok to talk about it...haha!!

Well, since you asked, I'd go bias ply, Ford model A on custom built ch***is, and SBC. But after all, that's just my opinion. You're also en***led to yours. And also which links you decide are intriguing enough to click on, much less respond to...But thanks everyone for the Congrats!! I'm stoked...

For the next eight months it will be touch and go seeing your car.
It will be considered the "other woman" to your wife.
Enjoy time with the car for now while you can.

For the next 5-6 years you will barely be able to get out there and dedicate time to it, but that's okay. The kid will grow up more mature due to a better family unity.

One day you'll sit there looking out the front windshield of your Model A and realize, wow where did time go ? The kid turns 16 in less than a month !

Enjoy every moment as they grow up, it only happens once.
