you'd think by now I'd know how to do a poll, but nope. chopped, full fendered, caddy powered 34 ford pickup. option 1: channeled and 2 pedals option 2: un channeled and 3 pedals sadly too fat and old to do both. just curious.
I've thought of this...best of both worlds channeled look with no loss of room...then the beds easy...
Being an "east coaster," I did mine with a wee bit of chop & a good channel WITH A 4-SPEED. Although I like all the looks, I never get tired of looking at this stance.
My '34 is chopped, but since it's a hiboy, it's not channeled. And I'm glad of that. The cab is small enough as it is... I vote for 2/3 pedals, unchanneled.
I vote no channel,,I like the idea of a clutch but I went with an automatic due to a bad leg,,whatever you do make it as comfortable as you can with what limited space you have to work with. HRP
Stock bodied. Someday I'll have the only 34 left on the planet that somebody hasn't taken a sawzall to..........
Mild channel, mild chop, B&M Hydro. Like HRP bum legs, stiff clutch not an option, belly dragger not an option (can't get out), mega chop and sit on floor not an option. But mild chop, mild channel and hydro, now that's a hot rod. Subtle is the name of the game with a '34.
Channel and some thin pedals so you can fit 3 of them in there, its a hot rod, like my dad always says "sacrifice all comfort for style"
I like mine, no channel, no chop and three pedals for my 4 speed! But it's your truck do as you please. I didn't chop or channel mine, because I wanted to have a clutch and some comfort, 14,000 miles so far, so all's good.
Porkn****** has such a way with words! I couldn't agree more. Build the truck to suit yourself, not other people....
should have given back story fully. the truck is already chopped and channeled since time immemorial. I'm rebuilding it from the ground up now. personally I prefer chopped, channelled and 3 pedals, but I'm not sure I can work the three pedals in the limited space. when I was younger I could actually push the gas pedal with my hands. it was AT then (it was available). the world's now my oyster. I've seen some unchanneled cars that almost convince me to go that way but still on the fence.
i like em chopped ,channeled, sectioned and full fendered with a stick...but hey its your truck .build it how you want...
