Borg Warner Transmission ID ??? 13 38 007 90

    I found this Borg Warner Transmission with the number 13 38 007 90 on the side. Someone told me it was for a Vega / Cosworth. You tell me? I can't find anything on the internets about it.

    Thanks for any info on this thing. I wanna get rid of it, but I can't get rid of something that I don't know what the heck it is.

    A buddy of mine put one of those things in his 55 chevy with a hard running 327....blew it up in 2 days and left it on the ground at his shop. He asked me if I wanted it and like a dumb-*** I said OK....been storing it for a few years now with my T-5s....completely different looking ******. I doubt I can use anything from it and should take it back to my buddy's place!

    Its a 76-82 GM V6 5 speed "T50" good to about 200 HP.

    Yep T-50 and could very well be from a Cosworth Vega. Not a bad trans as said 200 HP or so ,I'm running one in my T with a Chevy II banger.
