I finally will have a shop again, this time I bought a barn, 5800 sq ft, 15 outside stalls for racecars, 6 more inside, and yeah I'll be living in it too... No more late night outdoor builds with a flashlight, no more welding and lighting up the Forrest letting people know what I'm doing, no more will filthy Dug laugh and tease me..... What he's gonna love though is the ten person Russian sauna built in to the lower floor

Nice, is that a former horse setup? It looks similar in concept to a horse barn with an apartment above it about 25 miles up the road from me. It looks like it is far enough the next door neighbors to keep noise complaints down too.

It's on sammamish, here's the creepy part...... It was used to bleed llamas for blood plasma, also the owner was investigated for the stabbing death of a real-estate agent about ten years ago

I think I remember reading about that back then. Looks like the ideal setup for you though. I told my wife years ago that if I bought another place it would be a shop with an apartment attached to it with emphasis on the shop but it looks like you got pretty nifty living quarters in the process.

Wow, very interesting place. Neat style. What year was it built?

Congratulations on actually having a shop. I don't even have a garage right now, so I am definitely envious!

Only problem is the upstairs won't be kept warm like it would be with a bunch a horses living below. Good thing is car exhaust usually smells better than horse exhaust.....

That was funny. And I was just thinking with all that and the story too you'll be on TV for sure.
