Looking for an Old Friend

I am looking for an Old Friend of mine Bob White he worked for AT&T and moved from Glendale Ht. ,Illinois to the Phoenix area in the late 70's. I have lost track of him and I would like to get back together with him. I have attached a photo of him and his wife Debbie in front of the '26-'27 Tall T coup he built and an other shot of the T-coupe he built.

For what it may be worth, if your friend worked for AT&T back in the 70's, he would probably have been part of AT&T Long Lines. That is the company I retired from. Keeping that in mind, I posted a message on the Retired Long Lines Bullitin Board, using the information from your post. I have no idea if that will help, but there are several hundred "Old" AT&T folks on there. Time will tell. Be patient.

Bob worked for Illinois Bell/AT&T and transfered out to Arizona in the 70's. He built the T-coupe in the photo in a carport at the apt. they lived at when they first moved out there. The photo is in front of the house they moved to and the last address I had for them.

STILL LOOKING for my Old Friend Bob(Robert) White. He moved to Arizona from Wheaton,Illinois. I loaded up all the parts and the Model T body in the moving van for him& Debbie . He built the Tall T('26-27) in a Carport using an arc welder and stripping out the old rusted out 60's Mustang for the parts. His T-bird had been rear ended and so he spent a weekend putting the parts car (mustang)together so he could get to Arizona to take the transfer. Then drove to Arizona! Last time I talked to him he lived on N. 71st Ave in Phoenix,Arizona

 

he's probably still in jail for putting the molded license plate and mustang tail lights on that T.

 

I don't know him, but I do remember that "T" from the late seventies around town. I'll ask around with some of my friends. Pretty sure in the early eighties I helped to put that body on to a stock type frame for a north Phoenix guy that was building a full fendered car from it. I lost track of it and him almost thirty years ago.

You can do a search of voter registration in what ever town he's in in Arizona...

 

pm me his address when he lived in glendale ht., illinois. i have a friend that can do a search on his whereabouts and if he's still alive.

 

I seem to remember those tailights.....I have seen it on here. It's yellow now. Try searching for T coupe posts... Good luck!
