I think he's talking about the whole wheel, rim, centrer and all.
    What is the car?

No, just a rim is the outer part of the wheel. What some would call A joke.

If it's the wheel in your Avatar that might be kinda cool with the chrome spider caps and chrome rings. I have never seen it done so it would be different. I looked on line and could not find any....just late model cars. It might work. If it doesn't then just repaint them!!!

I like gold centered wheels, but don't have many pix to post as examples. Not every car, but cars like Burt's TransAM, all the John Player Lotus trimmed cars (complete with pinstriping) from F-1 to special edition street cars, Dow7 treated mags used on a wide variety of vintage racing cars (and essentially the same treatment on Ferrari mags?), Weld drag / oval racing wheels with gold centers, BBS modular racing wheels with gold centers, etc. But keep the gold toned down a little, eh? More "antique" gold than bright gold? Looks good with polished rims and knockoffs, too! Gary

Back in the late '60's, when I worked in a gas station, one of the guys had a black '65 Impala with American 5 spokes. The spokes were painted gold and the rims polished. I thought it looked great and always wanted to do that.

  21. So the question is if it is a wide five doesn't it count more as a rim than a wheel?

I used to see lost of Gasers with the rears painted gold but you didn't seem to see a lot of black g***ers.

  30. Paint 'em!

If you don't like the look you can always put it back.

    W.T.F. it's only paint!

Its not like your buying wheels you might not like!
