So I guess there are some idiots out there that don't know what a rachit strap is.... Yesterday evening my uncle, cuison and her friend were driving home from somewhere when somebody pulled out in front of them ( I beleive, I don't have all the details) with a lawn tractor in the back of their truck.... I'm not sure exactly what happened, but somehow the tractor came off the truck and fell into my uncles lap....killed him instantly..... Tie down your loads, and don't cut people off he was a great man, with a huge heart...the world has lost another great veteran. God Speed, HRD
I am very sorry to hear of your loss... A sensless incident, out of pure stupidity . With sympathy, sparky

Thanks eveyone...you're right to much of this **** happening. D, it was on my Mom's side but you condolences are apperciated... He was a lot of fun to be around...I guess I should call my Mom And all this time I thought this weekend was for fondness of the men and women have fought for our freedom....such a shame it has been filled with desaster this year
Sorry to hear of your loss Matt. I'm going to a friends funeral tomorrow, crashed his vintage plane Saturday.
Matt, So sorry to hear of your loss. The fact it was because of stupidity is even worse. Just when you think you've seen it all along comes one to top it. Soooo senseless. My condolences to you and your family. Say Hi to your dad for me. Frank
Sorry to hear that Matt. Holiday weekends can be the worse. I almost had a head-on less than a mile from the house yesterday afternoon. Guy went to sleep and came all the way into my lane. Took 'er in and out of the ditch at 45. Lady behind me too. We were both lucky. Charlie
My condolances to you. I can't beleive how people will load up and hit the road dropping junk all over. I've had close calls with debis and been lucky. This really is an issue whose enforcement could use a lot more attention from cops. Every day when I listen to the traffic reports morning or evening there is almost always some **** on the road causing trouble.
Sorry for your loss Matt. It only reminds us how quickly it can happen. Live every day like its going to be your last because some day it will.
I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I am not the kind of person to go hollering for a lawyer; but this just begs a lawsuit. Like one of our HAMBers sez - "Stupidity should be Painful!" Damn!
I am sorry, too for your loss. There are far too many instances of folks not taking precautions to insure safety on the roadways. Right now, across the street from me sets a plastic gas container that fell from a truck bed yesterday. No one injured, but no one has returned to claim it. Unnecessary. Jim
Man... you see loose loads all the time, especially plywood etc. So silly not to take the extra 5 minutes to fasten it down properly. You never know what is facing you any given day, do you? My family's condolences to yours...
Man Im sooooooooo sorry to hear that. I have just finshed reading a story about a gal here in Fla who didnt tie her Surf Board down over the weekend and it flew off and Killed a Doctor behind her on the highway tie and over tie
