Hi all, I am putting 40 ford juice brakes on my 30 ford tudor. I'm running a 4 banger, so I'm not planning on altering the frame. (boxed or x-frame) I'm keeping the stock clutch. So I'm looking for an aftermarket brake pedal that will work with keeping the stock clutch pedal. I'd like to run a dual well m.c. Any good recommendations? Thanks for any help, Kensey
Try Bert's Antique Auto in Denver, (800) 321-1931. It is my understanding they produce the one that used to be manufactured by MT Car Products. You might post in the Model A section of fordbarn.com to see what the guys think of their mount. I remember hearing that the original units flexed too much in which case you might ask if it has been beefed up. If it hasn't been beefed up and the guys that have one don't like it you might build a stronger one with the same general design. Charlie Stephens
I did it using a stock pedal and a 40 style master. No kit stuff here. Just a simple 1 to 1 rocker on a 3/8" grade 8 bolt and a zert fitting. No reason you couldn't use a dual resivour master the same way. I know it's hard to see with everything painted black but it's just a simple rocker and the stock rod used to pull the rocker and a clevis for adjustment to the push rod into the master. Works grate. At first I mounted the master right to the cross member but with the body on the floor brace hit the lid. I made 3 spacers to move it back some to clear. The Wizzard
I'm using the stock clutch and brake pedal with a dual master cylinder, I copied the MT battery box/brake pivot. The only thing I bought was the master cylinder and a motorcycle pull type brake light switch from JP Cycles

Here's a quick and cheap way to mount a MC using stock A parts. MC is a $25 Mustang unit and is accessed through a hole in the p***enger side floor board.
If you are using the stock trans, do what Denis did using the stock cross tube. I did, with a stock 40 mc facing forward, through a hole that is already in the X member. Fits just under the floorboard with a hole cut out in the floor for access. Idea sparked by Chris from Washington
