2 link truck suspension trailing arms question

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Gasolinedeniz, Nov 8, 2011.

  1. Pretty simple question, i googled it for half an hour but cant find anything. Can anyone tell me how long they are center to center ?

  2. 54" from rear axle centerline to mounting hole IIRC. Can't remember, though, if that was the actual arm length, or the distance forward to the frame mount hole.

  3. thats a good point to start, there are some measuremants on the amazone site but they are to small but it looked like 53..... so i guess i can start to measure my lincoln :)b Thx

  4. If you are talking about the trailing arms on a Chevy pick up, you can likely find the info here:

The 1962(3?) to 1972 had a coil spring trailing arm suspension that is very similar to the current NASCAR set up. The trailing arms/axle are centered with a pan hard rod.

  5. yes soory i forgott to say i mean chevy truck arms :-(
