Hi, has anyone seen any of my old cars lately?

I don't know if anyone recognizes me but here goes.

There was this "thing" called the "Leftover Special" that I once owned, if it got finished, I'd sure like to see a picture of it.

Also, I used to have this '64 Chevy. would be really cool to see what it looks like today.

I have a hot rod shop in Chatsworth. A week or two ago a shop up the street was being re-paved and stuff was on the street. I saw the truck and thought it looked pretty cool. Saw this post this morning. Went back to get pics.The trucks in the parking lot again so this is the best shot's I can get. Gotta be it. Still has a chrome windshield wiper panel, and from the looks of your picture you had torched/cut out a panel in the tailgate? I can follow up if you want.

Hmm, they haven't improved it much. Painted it rat rod black, painted over the chrome, WTF? and lost the old bellflower pipes and the '64 Impala steering wheel. Not impressed.

Note to self, Win CA Lottery, buy it back, drop it off at Skratch's to correct all that is plain wrong with it.

Hopefully it still has the 327 I rebuilt the top end on.

Yeah, totally. I sold a $400 '66 Coupe DeVille that obviously wasn't in the greatest shape to a local kid in Burbank. I saw it once, then it disappeared. It looked exactly like my old truck does now.

So, is it safe to assume that flat black Krylon is the "new pink?" I think we had this discussion years ago re: my "Barbie Bike."

No more crummy hondas or acuras for me, commute car is made by toyota. It stops when I push the brake, and hasn't caught on fire. I do have two non-HAMB-compliant Fords though. One will run forever, the other makes people run away.

I've sworn off motorcycles too, there were too many idiot drivers before, and now we have texting while driving. If I were king, people who text and drive would lose a finger (or three) for every offense. Plumb axe and a tree stump, no anesthesia.

Yep, I bought it from Shag, he wasn't exactly pleased to be selling it either. I only sold it in a rare moment of clarity that it was an unnecessary luxury, and was upset that I couldn't keep it from getting banged up on the street. Duh... I made the same costly mistake selling a cherry '71 Chevelle years ago, I coulda made ten grand off of that thing had I kept it a few more years.

I sold it to a Scandinavian dude, who didn't keep his word about staying in touch.

Badshifter seems like he will make an attempt to see if it might be purchased, I wouldn't be able to shell out very much $ if it is, so you may be in luck.

Shit I have also posted threads here looking for it! I want it back as well. I had to sell something so I could have a "proper" truck to tow my dragster with. That's how it goes sometimes.

Not interested in starting a bidding war or getting anyone angry. It has just been on my mind alot over the years.

If you other guys who found it first pass on it please let me know.
