    The Robert Lomas Coupe is one of the best success stories for that color combo. I don't have a picture of it handy, Maybe D ROD or someone could post a pic of it. Looks awesome !

    This is why most stores have chrome ,silver and aluminum spray paint on the shelves and not much gold. That never was a fad that caught on.

  20. A "rim" is the ring around the "coin", which is the center of the wheel assembly. Together, this makes a "wheel".

    The hard part will be getting the gold color you wish. Powder Coating Gold is kind of a "Holy Grail" if you "don't want what they got". Most of the golds are mediocre gold. Something like this - Sun Gold Bench Legs

    I think it can look good, even great, dependent upon the color choice. Imaging the gold painted 5 spokes from the green Ranchero on the 58 Custom, matching the gold insert on the trim.

    I used to have gold wheels on my coupe. Although the car was purple instead of black it looked pretty good in my opinion.

    The gold on this wheels actualy is gold flake. Not cheap but so nice.
