Sorry to tell you this, you're going to be as disappointed as I am. The Fairlane Company was bitten by the same lousy economy that took down so many other small businesses. They no longer exist.
Too bad 'cause I've been in the market for a set of those fenders myself and know of several others that would like them also. The molds were confi****ed as part of some kind of litigation and the current owner thinks they are pure gold (he just isn't making any - go figure).
If you PM me I will give you some more info as I have been in contact with some former Fairlane Co. employees.

JB donaldson Co. still makes the 36 roadster bodys and may have the wider fenders, they are located in Ariz. and are listed on the web ...good luck.

Check with Pete at Bebop's Gl***works in Athens Tennessee. He may have what you want and his quality is GREAT!!

Thunderbolt - let me save you some time and frustration. My apology for not adding this to my original reply.
There is no one in the entire US building wider than stock rear fenders for 42-48 Fords. I have contacted them all to no avail.
Some that I contacted were very sympathetic, some gave me the "they (wider fenders) give the car a 'froggy' look so we don't make them".
Too bad too, 'cause I have a couple of buds that have them and their cars look anything but 'froggy'. In fact no one to date has noticed the difference even when their cars sit side by side with standard fender-ed cars (we attend a lot of shows).
Many thanks to those that offered help.
