A gentleman stopped by my shop today looking to get rid of some old parts and service manuals.Cleaned out his garage to lessen the move to a cheaper place to retire to.......Rich
Nice stuff, still nicer that the guy offered the stuff to you. Makes you wonder how much stuff is out there that gets canned when people move.
I don't really know what these are for, Going by the the Ford service manuals, the stuff I got they must be for Fords .The Tbird service manuals I got were worth the 50 bucks alone. I saw the tach and the other parts were pretty cool looking, I just had to have them, I Told the guy if he had anymore to come on back......Rich
Looked to be in his 60's early 70's. All the service manuals were official Ford manuals so I imagine he was employed by a Ford dealership in some way. Asked if he had any cars and he said he just sold the last old car he owned which was a 71 ranchero. Hopefully he'll be back with more dirty and shiny objects for me to aquire........
Every time Dad gets out of the house, he starts giving my stuff away. I tell ya, just send me my tach back and you can keep the rest of the stuff.
try 63 to 66 Ford on the tach....they advertised them in most magizine....if it says Sprint - that would be a rare Falcon Sprint dash tach....
The Rotunda Tach was a Awesome Score! Check this out: http://content.liveauctioneers.com/item/2735103 Little info on the tach: http://books.google.com/books?id=ug...0CBoQ6AEwAA#v=onepage&q=C2RZ-17A326-B&f=false
That's pretty cool of the guy!! I'd be interested in a couple of those small oval lights if your interested in selling them.
Wooden cheese boxes make great parts storage bins, whenever I see one at a flea market/tag sale I add it to the collection.
That looks like a '28 ford taillight - they had a funny name, maybe a 'barrell' taillight. I have a need for that if you want to cut it loose - does it have 'ford' script on it? The Breakstone Creamcheese box is a keeper, the manuals are the best. You just get lucky every now and then, oj
