nice group shot...sorry i had to bail out on you guys at the last minute. but thanks for letting my buddies hang with you guys. Munster...that pic is cl***ic. have it framed and hang it in your living room.
I thought it was a dodge, I just wrote plymouth for some reason.... 38 huh? That car is ****ing awsome! I had dreams of it last night....... Someone has to have a few pics of it??? Every time I saw it, I didnt have a camera handy, now Im kickin myself bigtime!!! Saw him and a couple other cars on the side of 101 with a cop behind them on the way home... It was a bummer to see.... Is the owner a HAMBER???? THX...
...and the other handful. Perhaps this is the wrong forum in which to say this, but I thought Paso was a lot more interesting when it consisted of finished cars and a few that were on their way to being finished. This year, driving in the cruise, I couldn't help thinking that there were very few cruisers worth a second look. I'm really glad that our hobby has found a "second wind" in the form of a younger segment of participants, many of whom revere the old ways and pay homage with neat new work. Seems like there are a lot of folks, though, who ***emble beaters just for their shock value, and they take up a lot of space at Paso of late.
fonzi, good thing there are letting us back next year! anyone have pics. of nate's car?? lowsrpings, ****s you couldn't make it. your buddys kick ***. if it wasn't for nobel fixing my elec. fan 10 mins. before leaving i would have never taken it. as far as the pic. going up, damn right!! haha! thanks to eddie for taking the shot! bumpstick, you to drunk??? when?? haha!! lgh1157, thanks for liking my car man!
Here are a couple of campsite pics for Fonzi. I am saving my show photos for a little project to be named later. In a perfect world it will be done in time for the Moon Eyes show in December. Maybe even the Hot Rod Reunion???? Better get crankin'. Jr's trailer queen. Mayby next year! Camping, camping, camping...... siphon rule number one. Don't take too much fuel from car "A", or it will run out too!? And watch out for them pesky rattle snakes......YIKES!!!!!!! Ditto on best Paso ever. I had a blast.
hahaha!!! i still burp up gas! jr's trailer is now my yard art!! can't wait to see your other pics! a 3 foot rattle can't do that much harm! haha!!
that's my dad's 4 door 39 convert (nice car, just not what you would expect to see at Paso....) it was his first year and I think I got him convince to forgo the 20k paint job for a nice color suede on his 40 coupe....
That truck was built by a young guy name Jason, friend of Jake (dragnwagon289). Used the drivetrain out of a 38 Ford that was street rodded. I think he is from Carson City NV. Lot of nice work, it was his first rod build. It helps he works at an off-road fab shop. Little too low for me as a real driver, but that could be fixed pretty easily. Sorry I don't know much more.
momentumfoto Man your truck is SO cool I just cant get over it!!!! I love it..great job!! (any nore pics? Thanks to everyone for allllllllll the super pix.
group shots are kool Nobu is a very smart dude when it comes to cars. Hey wait, isn't he a mechanic by trade? He better know how to fix ****! I see some peeps tjhat look familiar in the 1st pic. Is that Larry Bisorti from Burbank that I see? I went to Burroughs with him. KNUX
This is my favorite post here. TOO COOL!! Where the pics taken, since your location says NorCal? I wouldn't think there would be stop overs from that short a distance.
Heres some **** from the norcal convoy and my album: oh no the god damn coil goes out in kings city!! sean's fairlane more at: http://photobucket.com/albums/v738/begborrowandsteel/Paso/?start=0
I've imagined a '39 convertible sedan with a '40 deluxe clip for years, and his car looks as good as I imagined! I'd do a couple things differently (headlights, wheels) but I think it's a great car and I was really delighted to see it!
