Where is my old 33 Chevy

I was wondering if anyone knew the whereabouts of my old 33 Chevy 3 window. Last I knew it was in PA. I miss my old car. I had to give it up because I was moving into a one bay garage from a 2 bay. Jim that is a awesome Bowtie. I always liked the 33-34 Chevys. I owned a '33 five window at one time, but it was stolen in Austin, Texas in 1983 and was never seen again. Maybe one day I will get another one. Good luck on your search!

There is no way in hell I would have ever sold that car, I would have dis***embled it and stuffed it in the attic first !

I know...It wasn't my best decision. I have a disabled child that I had to get into a special school so I moved to a better town. Unfortunately all I could afford was a house with a one bay garage. It was ten years ago homes were not that easy to find at the price I could afford. Today things would have played out differently because I can choose the house I want. So many being foreclosed on and all. Besides I had a LOT of fun with that car. Seemed like the go pedal was directly attached to the grin on my face. I gave up my hobby for ten long years for my family but now I'm back at it and about a year away from that grin again. This time with my 34 sedan & the kids. Gotta take the kids. But that's okay too because my whole family is into old cars. It would be nice to find her again just to take fer a spin.....For old time sake.

 

You didn't have to explain and I appologize if my "x2" reply made you feel like you had to. A lot of guys put their family first, you did what you had to do and I hope you not only find your old coupe but you get it back, you deserve it.

 

No apology needed. I was just sharing. I do miss that coupe. It all comes back around. My Mom is coming to live with us & she is paying for an addition. Of course the addition is going to have 3 bays under it. At least if I find it & get it back I will have a place to keep it. Now that would be a happy ending.

Well over the past few months I called the guy a couple of times & he never returned my calls. But I do have some good news. I found another one and bought it! When I get around to building it I will start a build thread. Pictures can be seen here of today as it was dropped off at the old homestead.
