Anybody ever make a "lake" style header for an inline chevy six (194-292)? Or does anybody make such a thing? I can find the flanges but yet to actually see anything else.
Try calling Matt at Lakeheaders.com / Geardrive Speed and Custom. He custom builds Lake headers and does an awesome job!
Got word back lakeheaders.com doesn't offer anything for any inline motors. So that means I'm still looking for ideas!
http://www.hellsgatehotrods.com Andy is his name, amazing product and well priced, yea it's just a flange but it's a start!
We saw Andy from Hellsgate Hotrods at this year's Billetproof NW and he turns out some nice stuff. Well worth looking into. I was sitting here trying to remember the link when Slider posted it.
I ran three cylinders into the left side pipe and ran the other three cylinders under the engine and into a pipe on the right side. Just for the heck of it. All home made including the intake and the flange plate on the head.
Thanks for the pic!! I was sure it was possible just didn't know for sure. But I have the same intake but for triples on mine. Thanks again!
No problem, just make sure you have lots of mandrel bends, you have to bend them down and around the intake, or at least thats what I did.
heres a good word for andy at hellsgate hotrods , i was looking for a lakes header kit for a 4.3 gm v6 , he made me up a kit and shipped it to my door for $190 excellant ,
Thanks everyone for the kind words. I just wanted to say that we can make a header kit (lake or other) for almost every flange we sell. Glad we can help out fellow hot rodders. Andy
I talked to Andy this morning. I'll be ordering a stubbed flange after the firsy of the year Sent from my LG-K373 using Tapatalk
