I know MANY of you practically grew up at car shows and rod runs. I'm certainly no exception. Here's some fun photos from June of 1979, from the Nats East show when it was still held in Maryland at the Timonium farigrounds. I remember when NSRA events looked like that. I was 22 years old that year, I love the 70's! Love the hair, those and shag cuts were my fav.

All clowns are scary. If any HAMBer's are clowns... Don't think for one minute you haven't scared the living dogshit out of half the kids (and some adults) you have ever laid eyes on in your freak suit. I hate clowns.
Arizona in the 70's was all about cruisin ,VANS , or dragracing , also had a cool go kart track , and roundy D roundy racin .I was into all of them , though i destroyed all the goofy van pixs i think .COOL PIC A/G My lil girl has been going to shows and cruz nights since she was1 month old. She is 3 and already pics out the cars at the shows she wants .
Clowns are freakin' creepy but what's even worse are '70s and early '80s hair cuts. Those are the things that nightmares are made of.

very cool stuff I lived in Va in79 and I think I went world of wheels there but I was young I will have to dig thr some pics and look at the dates. very cool pics
