I got the call tonight from from an old timer selling me his 1934 Plymouth Coupe he has owned it since 1968. He has all the parts to put the car back together. No rust and only a couple small dents in the fenders. Original Paint which will stay. My son and I will pick it up Wednesday and I'll post better pictures coming out of his storage shed. He even has the original PA title & manual. It killed me last month when I sold my 1940 Ford Standard Coupe but this will help me get over it! Jim
I am thinking something like a 241 Red Ram. I do have a real nice 426 Wedge but not sure I can squeeze that under the hood! Jim
a 114" wheelbase PE. Plenty of room for a red ram. The Wedge will probably fit with a small recess in the firewall. Good luck with it.
these make nice cars, congrats on your find, one thing I have noicted is that these are half the price compared to a ford in this model, however the 34 plymouth has really nice lines and they have that chopped look from the factory cool car man!!!
Great car. I have a friend that built one more than a few years ago. He won "best chop" at a fairly big show. It was still stock height, he didn't have the heart to tell the sponsoring rodders. Haha.
I agree, my Pop has one also and we get compliments all the time on the non-existent chop! My opinion it's one of the most over looked coupe bodies. The roof/window proportions are one of the best of all 5 window coupes.
Those cars make as nice a hot rod as any '34 ever built. Congrats on very nice score. If I could find one like that, my heirs would have to deal with it after I died.
Cool project, I'm working on a '33 Plymouth coupe right now. Good luck with yours! There's a wealth of information here : www.ply33.com/
Nice, great score. I like those early Mopars..great lines, and suicide doors. How can a guy go wrong?
Congrats! I think the Plymouth has the sweetest lines of the 34's made by all manufacturers. All MoPar would be right on. Good luck with the build. ~sololobo~
Sweet!! The only thing that would make it better if it were at my house. Ha. Love early mopars. Hope to get one soon!! Keep it mopar!!
