1st Annual Southwest primer run was a success i think, 16 cars turned out all carrying 2 each, next year will be alot more organized but for a first year it was great we had fun and learned alot! thanks guys for showing ..just wait till you see what we got working for next year!!!
Hey squirrel thanks brotha!....hey drop your picon this thread please, we're trying to keep em all in one place thank next year will rock!

ummm...mine pirate post was first probly cause I didn't have so far to drive to get home! I'll see about putting my pics on here, too, might take a little while if I have to upload them all over again.
story that i heard was roth built the car, and that even though stuff has changed on it, it will never get repainted because of roths signature on the stripping
story I heard is that Steve built the car, and Roth striped it at 4am after Lead East about 20 years ago....
Who's is this? wow!!! Tell me about the tires on the rear. I thougt if you got 8.5 they got much taller.....matter of fact, I thought that # is the width of the side wall.....fix my mind! That is a really cool car!
some more pics of run. i know jason will be pissed but it is 1 of my favorites!!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry jason(not) hehehehehe also a pic of rons 227 coupe
your a **** Ricky!!!!!!!!! lol...your not supposed to show the picture of the guy who not only organized this run, but held it up in the morning!!!! ha ha ha ha! great shot of my truck with the front in the nosebleed section and draggin rear fenders! aint bags great?
Sowhat do you think about next year, maybe push the time out so you could have a pre show run one day and then a show the next, then we could have beers and relax after the run, wake up and do the show the next...at least the guys wouldnt have to drive like hell, have a couple and then roll all the way home in one day. I dunno just a thought
Wouldn't that be nice, I wish roth built the car, the only thing that has changed is the motor. 1st motor was a 55' olds 324, for a year then flathead, 1st with a scot blower then in the gmc blower. which came off a 41 merc. that was hot rodded in the 40's, and yes I will never paint the car even though it looks like ****,(I like nice paint). It was a fun run, rolling down the road was the best part, I just wish we could have done a little racing or peeling or something.
well first thing first we are planning a "meet and greet" at our final destination. where we can sit down and everyone will meet everyone get to know each other and what we do/offer in the field. we are talking very strongly about a show (just looking for a venue) it will probably be a 2 day event next year. we are also chatting with the holiday inn there to see about booking rooms ahead of time. i will keep everyone updated over the next couple weeks thanks again JASON AKERS GREASE MONKEY CUSTOMS INC. TUCSON, AZ
Anything going on this weekend in Tucson or Phoenix that would be cool? Im not sure when, but sometime this summer us guys down here are gonna try to get something together.
That is my pops car. L78-15 are on the rear and 500-15 on the front. The wheels are from stockton and the tires are from coaker.
