The single brake line from the mc will have to T off somewhere so half goes forward and half goes back, the linelock goes in the line that goes forward. You step on the brake, click on the linelock, and it traps the fluid in the front portion only. You release the footbrake and hold the ****on down so the fronts are locked until you want to launch.

Think of the linelock as a valve that you close electrically.

I did that to my 55 BITD, but I have since put on a dual master cylinder. It works well.

  8. LOL, uh I think that is the correct letters.

Ya know John Force doesn't have a line lock.

If you want to race the old way you build enough torque to turn the tires at will and learn how to stage without anything but a smile.

If you look around the HAMB long enough you will find a pic of a fella in a '65 Chevy truck ('64 if you are the trad police) roasting the tires in front of the bleach box. All he has is desire and a stout engine. He doesn't have his foot on the brake, he's just hangin' on.

******, I had to... I see that so often it just makes me laugh. Blah Blah I just heard of is not trad. :D:D

Line Loc is fun, but I think the old hand operated staging brakes are a bit cooler.

Not to mention that 'trad' tires weren't nearly as wide and sticky....
