Whenever I log on and click remember me the site never does.

I have to log on every time I visit.

I know it's not my computer as I frerquent several other sites and they will always recognize and log me in.

At first I thought it was something I did, but....
I am thinking its some ******* setting that was picked up on my computer on the net somewhere.
I have no idea how to fix it, so if anyone works it out please, PLEASE let me know how to fix it too!!

Or is it just because I'm such an utter *******? Payback huh??

I just went to Internet tools and clicked compatibility view settings and added the hamb to that list so we will see if that helps.

I have the same thing going on but I just enter the first letter of my name and it remembers the rest. I just leave it alone, maybe it'll get better soon.

Look on your toolbar when you are logged in to the Hamb.
Click tools on the tool bar.

    Then click Compatibility view settings.
Then copy and paste this link where it wants the address.
    http://jalopyjournal.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=5

    Then click close.
It seems to have worked for me so far :)

Must be a personal problem, it never happens to me!
But I'm just a nice guy with no agendas or opinions anymore!
I'm just here to be of help when I can, and be entertained by you guys when I can't.
    Yeah Right! ;)

My solution is a bust. Doesn't work.

The problem is still there. The HAMB is now the only website I visit which just refuses to recognize when I return. Even after selecting "remember me" when logging in.

Logging in every time is a pain in the rear.

Maybe whoever moved this thread will try to "fix" things for us :D

Actually, that's your browser acting up and has nothing to do with the HAMB. Your browser is out of allocated memory. To fix it:

    1. Clear the cache , cookies, and temporary internet files from your browsers memory.

    2. Next time you login, click the "remember me" box.

After that, you will be good to go!

How about this one (may not be a hamb thing)

Unlike other sites and forums the hamb displays narrow on my screen / 1 ½” gray boarder on each side.

That's a design element... The site is optimized for the smaller monitors that most have.
