Bill, what a cool little car, as is, but could definitely see a 292, 4 spd, steelies, a small drop and juice brakes.

    Oh and keep the Fenders!

Ive got a coupe, and a Tudor. Then fenders are on the Tudor and off of the coupe. Fenders are nice. It is a tight fit for the Y block because of clearance but that is what is going in my coupe in the end.

With fenders on is ok, but even better is no fenders on a 32 frame with a nice Flatty....I've always wanted one done that way.

    Very nice car....
I think I have seen pics of it before
I like the way it sits just needs thinner tires and some ford wheels
Feel free to post more pics
    Was the top brown?
I am looking for a 80s chevy mini van for a new roof
    Thanks Bill

Looks great. I vote for keeping the fenders and dropping it (alot). I'd keep the banger too.
Glad to hear your boys dig it. I've got boys that are 5 and 3. I know what you mean by having to have room for everyone, guess that's why I drive a tudor too.

  14. Bill, I can picture it with the fenders OFF....and a Super Charged Flatty under the hood...(you know where you can get help with the engine)......and a nice Burgundy paint job....... I will do some brainwashing next time I see the boys!!! Ha Ha!

Lower it a hair, leave the fenders and a nice easy flathead and drive the piss out of it.

Yes the Fenders will stay and I will lower it as much as I can to sit down on 550s up front and 750s in the rear
    It needs a hair cut

    Up date

I hate up draft carbs so I dug out my Winfield Carb and intake rebuilt the distributor replaced the distributor drive gear and dropped the pan to clean and check every thing.
After some more cleaning and gaskets it's time to tune in that carb

Found some old reg papers under the back seat. With a pound or two of mice shit :(
It would be real cool to find the old plate 744EA
    New plains FTF
I picked up a nice set of boxed 32 rails.

  26. Sweet ride man!
I've got a 31 Tudor waiting for some attention after I finish my 31 roadster. I'm pretty partial to running the fenders with no chop but you have to be the one to make that decision.
Either way enjoy it and your family. That,to me, is what hot rodding is all about.

    Hey Brent and Joe...
I for got I had this car :(
    Change of plain
Some prick here on the HAMB ( no names) :)
Made me buy some nice 32 rails he had hanging out in his shop.
So now it off with the fenders and start over.
The plain was to drive it with the banger until I made a new model A frame out of 2x4 tube but now I need the body to build the frame out of the 32 rails.
That will be a all new thing for me so it will take some time.
    I still don't have a 100% plain I keep
Changing my mind on the axle and spring set up front and back
    Changing
