And there's a heap of similar sheds throughout NZ - the Galog boys shed in Delta Rodders country is a classic:cool: - it's already in Blokes and Their Sheds book.

Does any body have any pictures of Sqeek's place in New Zealand ? he has told me he has aboat 17 cars laying around down there, I would love to see some pictures of them.

  3. So many sheds ....so little time......:D Well done Steve...I'll be looking out for your book in the store.

To the poster (jipp)? you mentioned the NZ/Aussie rivalry...that may be true of Rugby, Cricket, Basketball, Netball, Rallying, Pavlova's, Lammingtons ,Dragon, V8 Touring cars, Crowded house, Misex etc...but on the hotrodding front there is no arguement. NZ has long been the second biggest market for Holdens and Fords out of Aussie and both countries suffer the same draconian fender rules and other nanny state bullshit. Our Aussie cousins have some other stupid 'Automotive laws' which we don't have and as such we feel for them. In particular the recent import restrictions. There are some world class builders in both countries, and our cultures are so similar.
I think you could say in hotrodding and dragracing there is mutual respect.

I could safely say that the gloves are off for the Rugby world cup clash between the Wallaby's and the All Blacks this coming weekend though..:D:D:D

Yep, its now on sale Roger. We had the national launch for it yesterday. Had a pretty good turn out of people and cars, and the sun shone, so all went well.

It started life as a 1956 210 4 door station wagon, and its owner Steve Caske cut it down into what you see here.

Is that your Falcon in your avatar Dylan? Your old man told me you were bringing one in when I visited him earlier in the year.

Hey guys, thanks for the kind words. It was a lot of fun putting that book together. It actually reached number 9 in the top 10 best selling non-fiction books in NZ leading up to Xmas!

  28. Well Done Steve! I got my copy for Xmas from my family. I still have not had the chance to get too far through it....but the boys at work loved reading it on Boxing day!

I have no doubt that there is plenty of scope for a sequel for next year! We have a few sheds up North that I am sure would blow your mind!

Cheers mate and thanks for all the hard work.
