1930's Sprint Car, Hisso or Hal? Thoughts?

    Have you spoken with Bluto here on the HAMB he was looking for cam covers too think he was getting some made if he could get the dimentions right just a thought

    Yes, talked to Bluto. Super cool guy. Our cam covers are different. In fact if you look at some of the photos of his and my motor they are completely different. Kind of a common story with Hal's. For a change the covers we had we painted black and they came out pretty nice looking. I will post more video today. My wife was so surprised the car took off like it did she quite filming to quick!

    The oval in Greenville, Ohio still exists in what appears to be it's entirety. Here's a satellite pic of what it looks like now. The coordinates are 40.074484,-84.638405. Apparently it never caught back on after the war. It's been closed since 1952, hard to believe anything remains.

    I have Hisso V8 and a head ***embly for a 4 cyl but no crankcase for the 4 cyl conversion
