Hot Rods What color should I paint my AV8 Coupe?

light gray, looks clean an cl***y with chrome

 

I'll post some pics. Your right about the correct shade of Ivory. The Old English White on the old Austin's are pretty damn close to a Ivory piano key. I'm still sold on my Ivory.. Thanks again for keeping me in check..

its not listed, but did you ever consider washington blue, not sure of the year but IMO its a really nice early ford color

 

I have tossed around all the Ford colors. I like the Vineyard Green, and yes that Washington Blue is nice. I'm on that TCP Global site with the color library. Then I google the name for pics. My head is spinning..

 

I'd say go with a factory coor such as cigarette creme from '29 with off white whees if you want to do something different. No ....wait, don't do that, that's what my AV8 wil be and Indiana is too close

 

Personally, I'd say black. just my 2c.

Went with Sea Mist Green a 49' Ford color. Now I'm beating myself up over the interior. If nobody likes it, at least it will be popular.
