I think the Moon Christmas party is no more! When I was at the last meet (at their shop), they said they weren't going to do it again.

On the last week of our holiday at the moment.Bobs big boy was a disappointment so make sure there is no rain in sight. Better place to eat would be Panns in Culver City.
Pomona has good shops as mentioned and so to Orange. We dropped into Early Ford store in San Dimas on the way up here to Pleasanton and they have some good stock.
Take the hiways to Petersen museum to avoid some of the inner city scenery.

You are coming to only TWO states: Cali & Nevada...that leaves 48 others, 46 of those are connected border to border...I'm IN ColoRODo...and there's tons of things to see in ColoRODo and the other states...but I'm certain you'll be quite busy in Cali...have fun...!!!

I'd get a map of the LA area and start figuring out what you want to see and do.
One thing to remember is that quite often the driving time across the LA area can be several hours even though the distance isn't too far on the map.

Let her pick the things she wants to do that aren't car related and make plenty of time for that.

While in Vegas the "Imperial Palace" casino has what's billed as the worlds largest collection of cl***ic cars up on the second floor, and from what I remember reasonably priced and a very nice collection, the raceway just north of town has a museum also. Congrats and enjoy the honeymoon.

Yep its a pretty cool museum, they bulk of the collection came from a donor who was into Packards. Most of the vehicles run and drive, and they give rides in the cars on Sundays.

Hell yeah! I know you guys will have an awesome time. Just be warned ... first time to LA ... it becomes an addiction ... when you get back home you will be deciding where to go next. Bonneville, LSR, GNRS, Primer Nats, HAMB drags the list goes on and on .... ask Al - he knows ;)

    Congrats! Enjoy the journey.
