Paint for 35 Ford Pickup

    Hi Everyone,
    Need your help again!
    I am looking for paint for my 35 project truck.
    I an goint to paint it a black cherry pearl!
    Does anyone have ideas of paint or cars they have painted this color?
    Love to see some of your guys stuff!

    I believe that is a Chrysler color. My dad painted his 36 pickup that color.

    Roothawg is correct, it is a Chrysler color. I painted an O/T Olds Cutl*** black cherry about 10 years ago. Really nice looking color. I'll see if I can dig up a few pics for color reference.

    Back in 1987-89 or so there were 2 versions called black cherry. Chrysler had one, Caddy had another. One was more on a purplish side, one leaned toward brown more.
    REAL black cherry, like on a Harley, was a candy color. Dark gray base, or black/black pearl, with a red candy coat over it. Gorgeous color, if done right!

    I guess i could look at house of colors!
    Also I just looked at a paint chip book and found one that was a 2009-2011 Acura color.
    Itis callesDark Cherry Effect!!
    Kind of hard to tell from a small square!
