I started on my 33 ,and thought I would post the pics. I know it's not what most folks on here would like but I wanted this one with the fender on it. Being built along the lines of my uncles 34. I boxed the frame with 3/16 and went with a pete and jakes four inch dropped axle, it'll have a nine inch ford rear. I posted more of the frame pics first but they didn't show up for some reason. Maybe some will like it as I know I like looking at all the builds of the 32=34 trucks

Happy to see you going full fendered. I personally think a truck looks dumb without the fenders so I may be in the minority also. Thats ok though, we all like what we like.

More truck pics, I cant figure out to put the pics on here in order.I started on the frame first and it still aint finished. It's easier to build the truck than for me to figure out how to use a computer. What seats will fit in this truck, I have some buckets but they are to tall and will block the rear window. Also I MAY CHOP THE TOP BUT FIGHT NOW i WOULD juST LIKE to get it running

maybe check out 80's Chevy S10 PU bucket & bench, also earlier sports cars or 60's cars
    for seats

Sorry I sold my '34, but you can't build them all.:( I'll be watching your build.. Maybe that will soothe the loss of mine. Oh yea, the fenders are a "must have".

more truck pics, the center part of the rear crossmember will be cut out after the new rails are positioned and welded up. I cut the bed floor out for the wheel tubs, they will be about 3 inches wide, I hated to cut this bed because it was in such good shape but thats the way it had to be.

yeah no paint for me, my wife likes it the way it is, probably just so I won't spend the money. This isn't the cab and bed I was gong to use. I have a cab that is in alot better shape but the more I play with this thing I really like it.

Right now it will have a small block chevy and a turbo 350 because thats what I got plenty of. Later I would like an old hemi or flat head and four speed. I'm just trying to get this thing drivable so I can drive it. No more garage sitters for me.

what lenght steering column works well in these trucks, I was wanting one with tilt, and also turn signals. The ones built into the column or the old school type that mount to the column?
