I just bought a ´49 baby lincoln ,all original with a 337 flathead. BBC is waiting for it if my roadster needs another 337 , it´s good to have sparepart cars that can be hotrodded. It´s still in Fl , but i´m coming there to put it in a container with other stuff and ship it to cold Finland....
Looks like your hometown is somekind of 49' baby lincoln magnet. Friend of mine bought this one from there:
Finnrodder , that´s my friends car , that he sold , to Tampere if i understand , at least i saw the car there.... Above is one nice two door Linck , mine is fourdoor but you newer know how deep the cutting and welding would go... IF i don´t start to feel sorry for a good restoration canditate
Its pretty close of Tampere.Friend of mine, the current owner lives 60 kms west from Tampere. He has been cruising in Tampere's neighborhood few times, maybe you've seen it then. Its a really nice ride,i have driven it by myself now and then
Love those Lincolns - here's a survivor of the original La Carrera Panamericana - we got to race it on the last day, after it had a small electrical fire that scared off the owner (he chickened out & flew home!) Ever since, I've wanted one of these boats - cooler than a merc, IMHO.
