with sugar on top? I have a 59 Bel Air and will be ready to lay out scallops this weekend, but still can't find the "right" look. Django has been a tremendous help. His version is below, and I love it, but it's a bit too "busy" for me. I want a real clean look. I need to see the hood, trunk, and side so I can lay them out (I'm not too good at guessing). The side trim is staying. thanks!
Hey, that looks pretty good as it is.***** it. YOu don't need scallops anyway. I'm working on another layout.
I thought it looked REAL sharp with all those scallops..........but I guess that's my West Coast sickness getting the best of me.***x Brandy
Here's 3 more ya picky********. But hey, what do you expect from a guy with a '59 that REFUSES to paint the trunk and fins to match the roof...
He is a picky bastad, aint he? I like the very first one you posted that was a little 'busy.' But what do I know?
damnit chad! i had myself all settled to go with skinny whites and you had to go and do that! Good thing I can't afford WWW I'm digging the new designs, too! a argh! I think we agree on the trunk, but could you show me how you vision the hood? That's been a trouble spot for me. yeah, I'm a picky********, but after a year of work, i want the car to be RIGHT for MY tastes.
I really dig the very first set a scallops, maybe if they were outlined with a metallic gold, it might break up the contrast a bit. Just my .02.
I like the one on the bottom left. Simple clean. I think too many people get carried away with and destroy the lines of a car. And your car already has great lines.
