Is this shock mount right?Model A

    Those are '37 to '41 Ford spindles.

    Is that based on the fact that the thrust bearing is on the bottom or something else you can see.Thanks Roger

    if it has a round back it is 37 to 41 . 42 to 48 back were square. flathead freak.

    To all those that suggested he just move the upper shock mount up higher - that won't help in this case since he says that the axle is already bottoming out on the spring clamp. He needs to get the travel and clearance between the axle and spring fixed first.
