Well well guys and gals! Do U know what fkin' **** is this one? http://community.webshots.com/album/94145313XruLys I still making and modifing it to my dear fried. If U know what the heck it is, U will got 10 points and I beleive that U are car freak too! Who is the first one who know what this is.. or should I say was?
Pretty sure it's a Opel. Opel is the German part of GM. (Like Holden for Australia, and Vauxhall for England.) But maybe GM didn't own Opel yet when that car was made...
Wondering who are sent pics about this one to the HAMB? Anyway, Opel is almost right, but not exact. Just quess more!
Quess who... I'm sorry if I ruined your surprise. It was "the mystery car" thread then: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=38846&highlight=\"Mystery\"+quiz
C,mon tell us you ***hole. Is it an Auto Union? Borgward? Lloyd? No it ain't a Lloyd, Lloyds are tiny. Vauxhall? ****, tell us you *****!
how bout' a Crosley?? Or maybe i don't know what i'm talkin' about. i just pay mostly attention to AMERICAN cars.
Hey, they're available in the the US too: http://www.americandreamcars.com/1953moskvich401.htm Wouldn't it be cool to cruise around in a car named "Son of Moscow"?
OK, I am answering from this first post, then I'll scroll down...It's an Opel OR the Russian version of the same thing made from the dies they took home after the war. German version made pre and post WWII, Russian version I think into the 1960's.
Almost Opel Kadett but not right one! It is Russian made Moskovits. My friend want to different kind of streetrod and now he will got it. BTW, looks like a miniature Chevy... You notice? Vauxhall is much much more like US car than this one, cause much more quality and iden***y! http://personal.inet.fi/cool/makkes.garage/protos.html Some rare Vauxhall's are in this site showing how much there is quality and how much they are like US brothers.
My friend want to different kind of streetrod and now he will got it. BTW, looks like a miniature Chevy... You notice? Definitely--this design is from about 1937, isn't it?
It's spelled Moskvitch. I hate it when I lose. I remember the horrible two stroke POS cars they imported into England in the '60s and '70s, sub garbage is what they were, made Skodas look like Pintos, and that's not saying much.
Serious car freek.....yeah I guess. the black sedan/saloon in the picture is a post war vauxhall wyren I boleave! Rex
