maybe a few yrs. ot , but heres a chevelle 300 i just finished lettering the way it was done back then...................by hand with paint and brush!
I still got some left over sweet potatos if you are interested, as well as some home made old portagee apple sauce.
this kind of stuff just aint real popular in this area and i refuse to do vinyl. thanks for the compliment, lippy.
Hey Ed, Your lettering & design/layout looks top draw! I'll be it was fun coverin' that red body colour with the pure white! Without the lead pigments in the one shot, today, everything's a two coater. Be sure to hit every car show, race & swap with your cards & photos! Good luck! " Humpty Dumpty was pushed"
I have a buddy that does hand lettering,He has had to give in and do vinyl though He still try's to get people to go old school but most refuse. As for myself anything i have done is by hand
Nice work. I like the pin up avatar. No shame in offering awesome workmanship for hire. I agree vinyl sucks.....
Very nice work. I have a friend down here who sounds a lot like you. His main income is still hand painted signage around town, but he dose a lot of car stuff. He hates vinyl too. I'll PM you a great cash making suggestion.
Awesome work mr weird... im a fan!!! I watched a friend of mine pull some lines years ago and was hooked!!! See you on Sat... Jim
Hey Ed what about branching out and doing old time signs and things like that. Paint up an old fender or door with race car lettering and see if there is any interest. There has to be a market for folks wanting to personalize their shops/garages/dens etc. Custom made to order each one unique and no inventory. Just a thought. Good luck and you do have some real talent.
Ed you are a talented dude, wish you was closer, you wouldn't be starving then as i would get you to do my Willys, Hope things turn around for you
