I have a 56 caddy with a dual coupling jetaway. Looking for help with this one. When hot it will not go into drive unless the throttle is 'blipped' once in gear it drives and shifts just fine. I have asked all the ****** rebuilders in my area and even searched on line for someone that has any knowledge of them. Seems like all those guys are retired or p***ed on.

    Help!

Not all of them. It sounds like your throttle control and TV rod linkage is sticking or our of adjustment, I'll copy some pages out of the book and get back to you.

Thanks for the manual. The TV linkage appears to be adjustest correctly, I did shorten it 2 turns, it raised the shift points slightly. Still have a delay into drive when hot. Any other ideas?

We have someone that specializes in them here in Colorado. I know 40Studedude has used them. PM him since I can't remember the name right now. Fatsco transmission also knows quite a bit and has parts. Hope that helps
