What is this finned thing ?

A cover for something but what ? Looks like potmetal and no names on it.

 

I'm wondering if it's a handle from furniture rather than automotive

 

Ha ha, bought it at a swapmeet several years ago, naturaly thought it was automotive. I thought it was a weird deleat plate or something.

 

Its a clock delete plate for a 51-52 chevy!

 

I belive it is clock delete plate for 50s chev

i think it's whatever you want it to be man! great potential! hell, cast a few of them up and sell them *****es! gas, clutch, brake pedals, dash trim, air cleaners, early ford brake scoops, exterior trim...you could make anything out of them
