Hmm, I don't know anything about the LTDII spindle swap. We made a caliper mount for the stock spindle to run a 4 piston Willwood caliper and 14.5" hat and disc, that worked really well. Then ran a corvette disc/drum mc on the cowl, the only thing I haven't worked out is there is some freeplay in the pedal before the brakes start to bite.

Then we picked up a 29 Model A and the poor 58 now sits and waits for attention....

  4. GET EM GET EM!! I love mine. Fun to drive and classic lines. I never get sick of hearing "Man... Thats a beautiful car"
    Good luck

  5. I've got a thing about square birds, always have. They look lowered and custom from the factory to me. They were a lot nicer to drive than the 55-57s, never mind roomier( not to demean them in any way) If I had any money I'd have a '59 for a cruiser, for sure.

  6. Any news, Brian?

No, haven't gone to see them yet. I'm getting some other things from him, which he has to do a little excavating for in the shop (We all have stuff deeply buried behind other good stuff!), and is gonna call me when he's got that out. I'll post some pics of 'em when we go.
