Well, looks like I am the first to post some pics, I have a few descent ones, but I am no pro photographer. I am sure there will be many more to follow. This was a great show, and the weather couldn't have been nicer. I hope these pics will hold everyone over until the others chime in. -Joe

Here are the last few for now, the van was pretty damned cool.

The other shot is of the morning get together, to cruise in from the north, and the center cap shot is from my buddy Terry's car, and the vehicle reflecting in it, is my 60 Buick.

just got home from billetproof...sunburned, tired, but otherwise i had an awesome day.
got to hang out with some great folks, hambers and non-hambers alike. there were some really cool cars there as well, from what i understand, the count was around 300. i even won a trophy!!! best stripes award. the trophy is awesome and features one of rays signature handpainted licenseplates.
kirk, the poorboys, and the peckerheads sure do know how to host a show.
    i wish i hadn't forgotten my camera....damn.

Here's some more from today. I rode with 62 Wagon...we had a blast. Too bad we look like lobsters now. Shoulda remembered the sunscreen. Next year.

Clockwise: Fat Hack's window ornaments, Chris's well-endowed Tiki with Gus in the background, 62 Wagon's car, the "Koffin Kicker's" display Coffin, The "Koffin Kicker's" in force (3 members so far), Denise's burnout, DirtyT's creative ensemble of hood latch/Jack Daniels Overflow bottle. Too Cool.

I'm not an artist with a camera - I just take snapshots. My favorite was the 27 T roadster on 32 rails, but I don't think the car had any brakes because it just cruised around the whole time.

    Clockwise:

62 Wagon's new Tattoo, Six Gunner's grocery getter SANTA FE HYUNDAI (now officially inducted into the GMB Koffin Kicker's club at his wife's request), The lineup across the way, pulling into a closed party store to re-group after the detour fiasco, a real nice kustom from indiana...didn't get his name, the lineup leaving Denise's house, 62 Wagon's ride with brand new shoes and rims; bagged & aired out.

Alicia asked me if I got one of "those" on my car, and seemed disappointed when I told her I didn't DARE bring the '96 Impala to this show...

Mabe next year I'll have the '51 Merc available for "violating"... :)

Had a great time today. There was plenty of action to be seen and I even ran in to a real good friend of mine I haven't seen in years. Maybe next year Holly and i will make it on time.
Ya'll should have stayed for the figure eight smash-em-up. It was surpisingly fun!

A shot of roadstar's new sedan they thru together and it won best hotrod i think?

A shot of my cars little koffin kickers thing. (i cant remember the guys name that did all our cars one of you pin heads let me know please)

Fathack explaining to hotrodtohell, 35pickup and sixgunner (i think) why the whole hotrod world should use 2.8's or he could just be waiting for hotrodtohell to fall over dead since he didnt sleep for the last 30 hours or something crazy like that. But the damn 55 was there and is bad ***. im glad he could get it done for the show.

Here is the guy i owe alot to: peterpan of chicago he spent the better part of the day laying some wicked *** lines down on my car. as well did a few other guys that i never got there name:eek: it was crazy every time i turned around it was like some other guy was striping my car. pinstripers have to be some of the nicest guys around. Maybe next year ill let ppoc look at some car:D yea and i never did get a pic of the finished product hopefully some one else will post it. its wild!

Here is fathacks beast getting safarinuts flying eye ball treatment. this guy can do these things in his sleep. i think he is better at them then vondutch ever was:eek: :)

And the finished product... and agains one will have to pipe up and name names on who did what on the car.

    stay tuned...

And we all hit up woodward after the show for some streetrod power parking and pothole dodging.

I gave my camera to mikeo's wife to snap some shots but turns out dodge trucks dont ride to nice either around here. I appluad her effort. she made me feel like a rock star with all the camera flashes as i drove haha. But non the less here is the best pic we were able to get of my throwing some sparks. fathack should like the crazy disco effect on the tail lights eh:D Thanks again for the pics! i have more but its late and im tired ill post a few more tommrow if i get a chance.

This years show was like 3 times the size of last years and still the same great laid back crowd and all kindsa bad *** cars and kick *** bands. if you all get a chance to get to detroit for next years show it will be well worth it!

    What a DAY!!!

Just got home, dog tired, but loving every minute of it! The day started early, I left Dearborn at 7am, and wound through the smoothest, zig-zag route around the WORST roads...then snuck my car through the closed off section of Andersonville Road before the county Sheriff's set up shop to bust people doing that! Stopped for gas right before that and found that I'd used a whopping one and a half gallons driving roughly 40-45 miles! Ha Ha...who says a five gallon gas tank is a handicap?!?!:p :D

I took a bunch of pictures with my kick-start, coal burning 110 camera, so you'll have to wait like a MONTH to see mine, but I'll post 'em when they finally DO arrive back from processing!

(Give up on trying to get me to buy a digi-cam...my car still runs an 8-TRACK PLAYER!! )

The pinstripers that worked on my car (Safariknut and Moose, aka Seca Tim) did an excellent job, and our most generous lettering friend (Scalloped, I think was his name?) did amazingly cool work lettering all of our club cars with the Koffin Kickerz name...thanks again to them!

Safariknut also donated his skills to a special little project I cooked up and had HAMBers working on for ya today...look for a VERY COOL new HAMB auction shortly!

(Heads up...folks who couldn't be there today will NOT wanna miss this auction!)

The Woodward cruise afterwards rocked, too! DirtyT was kind enough to help a bunch of Yuppies get their Hemi Cuda convertible started at a rsturant where some cruisers gathered, while we snickered at their inability to operate the simplest hand tools and a set of jumper cables!

    Oh yeah...

fathack blows chicks in corvettes for fun:eek: ....

Some chick in a top-down Vette got stuck riding next to me as I took off from a light...with my side exit exhaust pipe blatting sharply in her ear, she just kept leaning farther and farther from the door till her man-thing could get them away from the noisy brown monstrosity next to 'em!

Big Fun all day long...probably missed seeing a bunch of people and cars, but I had a great time anyway...already looking forward to NEXT year!!!

"ALL HAIL THE SPACE HERPIE" i thought they were little green men for a min there.... damn what a good day i laughed till it hurt...:D
