Looking for some literature on early ford rear axles. I picked up a 10 bold rear axle that has the numbers 8A4025 stamped in it. Also their is a set of four numbers that read 0136. Any info would be apriceated
    Thanks, LT

Thanks but still nothing. The previous owner told me it was out of something either 1950 or previous. All of the studs on the housing are about 1 3/4" apart from each other and the studs directly accrost from one another are 9" exactly. The ring gear apears to be about 8" accrost but cant get a verry acurate reading without pulling the gear set out. Also the gears all come out of the front. Not shure if any of this is going to help but their you have it.
    Thanks again for any info.
