Chevy tach drive distributor ID

  1. Got this distributor from a friend cleaning out his garage. He couldn't remember what it was from. Has no markings other than '726' stamped on the underside of the housing. The electrical connector is a 3 pin with a twist-lock. The rotor is marked with 1BK1016. The inside of the cap is marked 1BK1003.

    And yea, I already Googled for 45 minutes with no luck.....

    Marine application?

    Accel made a unit with the upper bearing support. More than likely magnetic trigger below plate. Connector is pretty typical of Indy car , can am racer etc......
    Chevrolet V8 for sure......
