Dropped axle ?

    I remember reading, somewhere, the amount you could safely drop a front axle. I can't find the thread or the site. I think it was the guy from Roadsters.com or ***us. For example, 28-36 could safely go full 4" but a 42-48 could only go???

    Do any of you remember this thread or where this info is?

    I believe www.roadsters.com won't drop them, 42-48's, more than 3". Check out the site. Hope this helps

    I swear it was in a thread on here somewhere. I have the tech one on dropping axles and it had some info but I know I read it somewhere!

    Yes, at the point at which they start to thin.......
