HAMB on the ROCKS - Rockford, IL / Belvidere, IL - Janauary 21, 2012

Why mess with a good thing right? The last couple of "HAMB on the ROCKS" were such a blast that we're going to do it again for 2012.

The day will begin Saturday, January 21st 2012 at 11:30 am when we will meet at the Tilted Kilt in Rockford for lunch. From there (around 1:30 or so) we will travel to Hopperstad Customs in Belvidere for an open house.

This will be the 4th year for HAMB on the ROCKS. While it originally started as a small event for HAMBers to shake off the winter blues, it has really grown the last couple years drawing non-HAMBer hot rodders, street rodders, and other car enthusiasts from all over. This year will be a little bitter sweet for me because it will be my last one before I move back to Texas but I'm still really looking forward to it.

The Tilted Kilt is located inside the Clocktower Resort right off I-39 in Rockford so it's real easy to get to. From there, it's just 5 or 6 minutes East to Hopperstad's.

There's always plenty of cool stuff to see at Kerry's and everyone who went to the Tilted Kilt said lunch was great!

i was there last year if i can swing it i will be there again this year

 

Im gonna try to make it, been to the last three and had a great time at all of them.

 

I hope to make it as well. Weather permitting, of course.

I missed last year...for no good reason....and don't plan to make the same dumb mistake again! I will be there, for sure!!

Hope you can make it out. It has been a while since I've seen you. As fas the move goes, the details are a little fuzzy yet but it is probably the March to June time frame.

If anyone from the west side of IL wants to come over to the 29th Annual Rod & Custom show, it will be going on Friday and Sunday. Rock Island IL at the QCCA Expo Center.
