new gas tanks 37 ford ?

    Hey quick question looking for some opinions steel gas tank, stainless tank , who makes good ones for a 1937 ford ? want to see what peps are useing and if they had had any issues thx

    tanks(the company name) makes some really nice stainless tanks that they'll build to your specs,they also offer standard replacement tanks in steel and plastic..have used them in the past and found them to be fantastic...bob brake also has good tanks,,, i've used both companies and are very satisfied with both

    put a Tanks Inc. steel tank in a couple of years ago. Nice tank, no problems at all.

    Another vote for "Tanks", used a regular steel one in my 37 Ford Ute.

    I put a "Tanks" into my 39, I like it, but there where 2 areas that I would double check now. I think the tank sits a little high and the body is resting on the tank rather than having a little space between the tank and body. And secondly the fill inlet was not properly soldered in place (cold soldered) and broke off. I had to remove it (raise the body) and silver solder it.
