TO CHOP OR NOT TO CHOP ??? my 49 chevy

This one looks grate ! any one know's who did the chop ? I think it's from
San Jose ,Ca not sure

Your car is already super clean, great stance, consistent "theme". Since you have already done a frame off resto, you know what your getting into with another major project. Are you willing to have the car out of service for however long it takes, be at the mercy of a shop that may or may not do what they say they will when they say they will? You asked for other suggestions for the front and rear. One mod to consider that would be a subtle change that would maintain the current "theme" of the car would be to install 55 Oldsmobile headlights. The Olds headlight rims add a lot to these cars.

 

evrtime one of threads comes up im surprised how many people vote to keep a stock cars stock...not saying it needs chopped...just saying it is in no way custom. it will be nice either way you go.

I say no chop. if it were mine i would lower it more, put some early sombrero caps, take off the visor(s) and get some skirts.

it could make a clean mild custom too with a tasteful shave.

 

We are doing the research and prep now for our chop........I say CHOP!
