my name is jeff.me, my father and friends have been building for years. my old man is a chevy guy, my friends are chevy guys. me i'm a mopar nut. i've owned my fair share of mopars, but this one is my most challenging. i'm building a 1948 civilian model dodge power wagon with a 1955 331 chrysler industrial hemi. i'm trying to put a dodge 3 speed behind it. i found an original factory cddp adapter plate about 1" to 1 1/8" thick. now my flywheel will not seat on the crank flange. my question is are the flywheels different from the industrial motors than truck or p***enger car flywheels. do i need a different flywheel or a thinner adapter plate.

    thank you

Hi, you are on the introduction forum.

You need to ask that question on the main message board. "hokey *** message board" You will get some help.

  3. Howdy, welcome
Search "hemi tech" and you should find the info you need.
Ask on the main board and you should have an answer in a minute or two.
Be sure to put hemi in the ***le.
See you over there after you make a proper intro.
